HANSEN Garments is high quality everyday clothes.

Based in Copenhagen, founders Aase and Per are inspired by their past as global travellers, grounded in Nordic design traditions, and driven by an ambition to make effortless and timeless garments.
The result is casual and straight forward garments and collections that aren’t tied down by seasons or trends.

CRAFTMANSHIP

All HANSEN Garments are produced in Europe and all fabrics and trimmings are hand picked.

We carefully seek out craftsmanship rooted in aesthetic values filled with earnestness. Historic traditions are paired with contemporary techniques, infused with soulfulness and a drop of rational nostalgia.

Current collection - CLASSICS NEVER GROW OLD

The SS24 collection takes us back to where it all started. After a little soul-searching, we wanted to continue developing our core products and concentrate on what a man truly wants in his wardrobe. It’s a classic menswear approach based around shirts, ties and the casual three-piece suit.

This season, we really celebrate fabrics - after all, they are the most important starting point of a garment - and we selected from the best suppliers from around the world. From Japan, we have a checked cotton/linen mix, a real indigo-dyed cotton with a Sashiko weave, a dobby cloth and an indigo rip-stop. We found some exclusive Italian-made core fabrics, such as high-quality cotton twill, canvas and drill, that really elevate the basics. Last but not least, there is an exclusive ecru/black pin-striped cotton/metal blend that has a particularly interesting textural quality.

This season, we have gone back to black: the collection contains more monochrome pieces than usual. We found ourselves drawn to black again as we find it an interesting colour: expressive and yet anonymous at the same time. Paired with white or ecru, it gives the collection a timeless and classic elegance. Against this backdrop of black, white and neutrals, we added touches of lemon, pistachio, rosé, vanilla, and raspberry - all colours that will get you into a summer mood.
