RAGNAR GDU 11-2-143 Embroided By Hand

HANSEN aw11-broderet jakke.jpg

The HANSEN aw11 collection is inspired by Norwegian heritage and traditions.
This 100%wool jacket is made of the finest wool still produced in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. The only fabric they still produce for clothing, is for the Norwegian National Costume. The fabric is called “Klede” and has been made since the factory was founded in 1887.

The embroideries is an interpretation of the patterns that decorate the National Costumes and are made by hand in Valby, Denmark, by an elderly lady who learned this craft at age 4, she says.

Exclusively available at Normann Copenhagen.

OTTO 11-2-151-2 & SVERRE 11-2-145-3

HANSEN aw11-worsted tweed bukser .jpg

One of HANSEN’s visions is to make great trousers. Trousers that stand out - with cool details and thought through function and pattern constructions - without being “over designed”.
SVERRE: The missing side seam is an example of how we work inventive with patten construction.
OTTO: The curved legs creates a silhouette of what riding or driving trousers used to look like.

This British Worsted tweed 100% wool fabric we found at one of the remaining tailor stores Hvideberg in Copenhagen. It has been lying there for about 40 years - and is of a quality that is hardly made any more. Our standard of finish is high - so seams are covered with band and trimming is of horn and metal.
For AW11 we only made 10 pairs each - and they are sold by the number. Not only is the quality extreme - you won’t see them on every corner.

Exclusively available at Normann Copenhagen and RadicalZoo in Copenhagen.
